Timothy Wong perplexed to be accused as third party

17 Sep – Timothy Wong recently admitted that he was perplexed as to why he was dragged into the news of divorce between Jerry Lamb and his wife of 18 years, Lily Hong.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who previously worked with Lily in a music video, stated that he has not been in contact with Lily at all and felt it strange to be approached by the media about the divorce that he knew nothing of until recently.

"I met Lily two years ago when we worked in the same recording studio... I said I would be releasing a new song soon. I suggested that she star as the heroine for my music video because I am not a young singer and it would have been more appropriate to find someone [of her age] to be the heroine," he said.

Timothy added that there had been no contact since the collaboration, which made it perplexing when a rumour came out that he was the third party in the couple's marriage.

He also laughed when asked if Lily seemed unhappy with her marriage when they were working together, saying that they never spoke in depth about their personal lives.

As to whether the rumours have affected his relationship with his partner, Timothy stated that the two of them have a very good and trusting relationship.

"I don't have the time to have a mistress. I wish I have," he said in jest.
