There's simply nothing Timothée Chalamet can't wear. From a backless Haider Ackermann jumpsuit to his sparkly Louis Vuitton jacket at the 2022 Oscars, he's fearless when it comes to fashion. And at yesterday's Wonka premiere in Paris, he pushed the sartorial boundaries once more with another statement-making outfit on the red carpet.

Confirming the sheer trend isn't just for the ladies, Timothée wore a see-through sparkly metallic sleeveless shirt that featured rows upon rows of beaded threads from Tom Ford's spring-summer 2024 collection. Allowing his top to take center stage, he finished things off with a pair of tailored black trousers and matching boots, and styled his brunette hair in perfectly tousled French-guy curls.

Timothée's top wasn't exactly a surprising choice for the actor, who has experimented with his fair share of risk-taking fashion in the past — but given the sparkle and sheerness of it all, we couldn't help but wonder if his new girlfriend Kylie Jenner had any influence over the look, or if he stole it from her closet.

Other than maybe the shirt, Kylie reportedly isn't responsible for Chalamet's press wardrobe, which has also included a candy-colored pink velvet suit and a shiny purple metallic matching set.

When asked about his wardrobe for the press tour so far during a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Chalamet credited one of his former co-stars for inspiring him to dress more boldly. “I feel like Zendaya’s a great example,” he said of his stylish Dune castmate. “In this day and age, you can sort of lean into what the vibe of a movie is in the promotional stuff you do.” He added, "This movie is cheerful and fun and colorful.”
