Beautiful timelapse footage captured the strawberry supermoon as it over San Francisco late on Tuesday, June 14.
Photographer Shreenivasan Manievannan captured the lunar event. Manievannan’s footage shows the moon set behind the Salesforce Tower on Mission Street.
NASA said the moon appeared full for about three days, from Sunday evening through Wednesday morning.
The name for the June full moon is derived from the Native American Algonquin tribe, who named it for the season of strawberry harvesting in the US northeast. Credit: Shreenivasan Manievannan via Storyful
