Timber Beam Smashes Through Car Windscreen in Jefferson City Tornado

A wooden beam was sent smashing through the windscreen of a car in Jefferson City by a strong tornado on May 22.

In this video, local reporter Leslie Aguilar opens the car doors to reveal how the beam traveled with enough force to impale the front passenger seat and back seat.

The tornado tore through the city just before midnight on May 22, devastating homes and businesses.
