Tiger Sharks Feed on Whale Carcass in Hawaii
At least three tiger sharks were spotted feeding on the decomposing carcass of a humpback whale off Waimanalo Beach in Oahu, Hawaii, on April 13, footage released by the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources shows.
The whale carcass was spotted by lifeguards around 9 am on April 13, the Hawaii DLNR said. The sharks feeding at it measured around 12-13 feet, lifeguards who went out by jet ski said.
