Fans of Netflix super-series Tiger King could be treated to a brand new episode within days, one of the show’s stars has revealed.

Jeffe Lowe, Joe Exotic’s successor as owner of Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, announced the news in a video shared on Twitter.

In the clip, posted by Los Angeles Dodgers player Justin Turner, Lowe sits beside his wife Lauren and thanks the baseball star for watching “our show.”

He then says: “Netflix is adding one more episode. It will be on next week. We're filming here tomorrow."

"Take care, stay safe, and put your mask on,” he ends the clip.

Tiger King tells the story of Exotic – real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage – a mulleted, gun-toting animal park manager who at one point boasted the largest collection of big cats in the US.

Its seven episodes trace his years-long feud with animal rights activist Carole Baskin – which culminates in a 22 year-prison sentence.

The show is now Netflix’s most-watched title in the US and the UK.
