"Tiga Janda Melawan Dunia" producer happy with positive reception
27 May – Producer Keoh Chee Ang has recently expressed elation over the positive reception to his new film, "Tiga Janda Melawan Dunia".
Speaking to Metro recently, Keoh, who has produced films like "Paskal" and "Ice Kacang Puppy Love", stated that while the movie has yet to reach the one million mark, he is happy that those who have watched the movie really loved it.
"I thank all who have supported this film and are willing to come to watch and celebrate it," he said.
Referring to the director Hyrul Anuar, he expressed, "I am proud to have known Hyrul, who is very experienced in directing commercials and this unique and colourful idea that he had."
"What expectation we had of him in the early stages, he presented to us successfully in the final stage."
The movie, which has been released since 19 May, stars Khatijah Tan, Normah Damanhuri and Raja Azura as three divorcees whose effort in raising money to buy tickets for the last concert of their idol, Aiman Zalini ends up with them being hunted by dangerous people.
