Tiffany Tang denies involvement in "The Legend of Ba Qing"
15 Oct – Tiffany Tang has dismissed rumours that she will be replacing Fan Bingbing in the re-shoot of the latter's postponed drama, "The Legend of Ba Qing".
As reported on Epoch Times, rumours of Tiffany's involvement sparked recently, when the drama's production studio Tangde Fengyi announced that it has signed a new contract with the CGI company Sky Cat Technology who will assist them in re-shooting the drama at the end of the year.
Although the company made no mention as to whether they will be replacing Fan as well in the re-shoot, sources recently claimed that Tiffany has been approached to play the role.
It was also alleged that the company has had the intention to cast Tiffany for a while now, but did not go through with it before.
However, when asked about it, the actress' manager stated that there is no truth to the rumours at all.
"We have not been informed or exposed to this project," the manager stated.
It is also noted that Tiffany is currently pregnant with her first baby with husband Luo Jin, which makes such a replacement impossible.
The drama was originally slated for early 2018 release but was shelved indefinitely following lead actor Gao Yunxiang's sexual assault case and Fan Bingbing's subsequent tax evasion scandal.
