Thunderstorm Brings Intense Wind and Hail to Toronto
A severe thunderstorm in southern Ontario, Canada, produced heavy rain, hail, and strong wind gusts on Thursday, June 16.
A severe thunderstorm watch went into effect right before noon for the Toronto area. Hazards included nickel- to ping-pong-ball-sized hail and wind gusts up to 110 km/h (68 mph).
