Thunder Snow Rumbles Over Casper, Wyoming

Wintry weather chilled parts of Wyoming on Tuesday, October 12, as the National Weather Service (NWS) forecast “moderate to heavy” snowfall and wind gusts of 40 mph.

Video shared to Twitter by Curtiss Andersen captured a rumble of thunder in Casper, a city in central Wyoming, during Tuesday’s snow showers, he said.

The NWS said Casper could expect eight to 15 inches of snow by the end of the storm. A winter storm warning was in effect until noon on Wednesday. Credit: Curtiss Andersen via Storyful
