Thousands take part in anti-government protest in Yerevan, Armenia

Armenia's National Democratic Pole (NDP) movement organised a rally in Yerevan on Tuesday 9 November. The march marked the first anniversary of the signing of the trilateral agreement on Karabakh, and began with a minute's silence in memory of those who perished in the 44-day Karabakh war. A year has passed since the end of the war but, rally organisers claim, the government continues to lose lives and territory. The protesters want to get rid of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government.
