Thomas Rhett Announces 4-Night 'Mini-Residency' in Las Vegas: 'It's Going to Be a Blast'
"I'm already looking forward to making these shows unlike any we've ever done before," the country singer teased of his upcoming Vegas run
Thomas Rhett plans to give fans the full live experience for his upcoming Las Vegas run.
On Tuesday, June 25, the country star, 34, announced an “intimate” four-night “mini-residency” taking place at the BleauLive Theater inside Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Dec. 6, 7, 13 and 14.
According to the musician, the special set of shows, officially billed as Thomas Rhett: Live in Las Vegas, promises a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees, unlike anything he’s ever done.
“For me, having the chance to set up in Vegas for a string of shows is something I've been trying to find the right time to do for a while now,” the “Beautiful as You” performer said in a statement. “It gives us the chance to be back in smaller rooms — for almost a mini-residency — and really be right there to play off the fans and be sure every single one of them is on their feet each night.”
He added, “I’m already looking forward to making these shows unlike any we’ve ever done before. It’s going to be a blast."
Thomas Rhett’s residency news arrives a couple of weeks before his forthcoming album, About a Woman, out Aug. 23. Earlier this month, the dad of four girls — Willa Gray, 8, Ada James, 6, Lennon Love, 4 and Lillie Carolina, 2 — whom he shares with wife Lauren Akins, told Entertainment Tonight that his oldest daughter already heard the new upbeat LP and had a hilarious reaction to it.
"She said it slaps," the singer recalled. "I was like, 'Where did you hear that?' ... I guess slaps mean that it just has a good beat. I really don't know, but I received it."
The proud dad boasted that his upcoming project — his seventh studio album — has "slappers, bangers only,” adding that it was partially inspired by his kids.

"I started this record last April with the mission of making my kids want to be able to dance -- not that they haven't on my last records, but they like to skip the ballads," he continued jokingly. "We put one ballad on this project, which is like five less than I normally have ever done."
Thomas Rhett last performed at CMA Fest 2024 in Nashville on June 6 and is set to perform at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, along with Doja Cat, Big Sean, Camila Cabello, Gwen Stefani, Keith Urban, New Kids on the Block, Paramore and many more.
