To celebrate the first anniversary of the reopening of 12 Vendôme, its historic hôtel particulier, Chaumet unveils the Haute Horlogerie watch Infiniment 12 - Rêverie Nocturne. Appealing to lovers of dreams and of exceptional pieces, this creation is produced in a limited series by highly specialised artisans.

For more than two centuries, Maison Chaumet has combined jewellery virtuosity and watchmaking precision in the conception of exceptional timepieces. Since its opening in 1812 on Place Vendôme, Maison Chaumet pays tribute to its historic address with a creation elevated by artisan expertise.

Poetic and Parisian, the Infiniment 12 - Rêverie Nocturne watch with its Swiss automatic mechanical movement captures the secret charm that animates Place Vendôme at night. Upon close inspection, the bezel is diamond-set like a delicate halo, while the sky, of grand feu enamel by the artist Anita Porchet, is speckled with gold glimmers representing stars, and striated with finely guilloché rays.

There are three layers of scenes that grace the dial – including the interplay of shadow and light of the miniature painting – signifying the masterful contribution of the artisans.

In a graphic reinterpretation of hardstones working, engraved and painted mother-of-pearl delineates the geometry of the square’s paving stones, while a street light and the Colonne Vendôme are evoked by engraved appliqués. For lovers of Parisian elegance, each dial is secretly adorned with a tiny stone from 12 Vendôme, enabling the wearer to carry a little bit of Chaumet and the famous square with them wherever they go.
