Anti-racism protesters marched in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, after a decision was made on October 7 not to charge a police officer involved in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old.
Alvin Cole was shot dead by police after producing a handgun while fleeing officers after an argument at a mall, according to reports.
Members of the crowd reportedly began throwing rocks at houses, as seen in video posted by Brendan Gutenschwager. In the video people can be heard calling out to stop damaging the property, saying: “that’s somebody’s home”. It is unclear whether the vandals were part of the protests.
