'That's My Name!' Grandma Has Adorable Reaction Upon Learning Great-Granddaughter's Name
A family matriarch in Jamul, California, was recorded having an adorable reaction after learning that her newborn great-granddaughter would be taking on her middle name.
Footage recorded by Andrew Ferrante on November 20 shows his wife, Leanna, introducing her grandmother, Barbara Jean, to her great-granddaughter, Mia Jean, as they brought their child home for the first time.
After realizing that the two share the same middle name, the great-grandmother’s stunned and heartwarming reaction is seen as she laughs and repeats, “That’s my name!” before leaning in to kiss both her granddaughter and her great-granddaughter.
“Barbara is such a wonderful woman who has been a huge part of my wife’s life and the life of her 17 other grandchildren,” Ferrante told Storyful, saying that she “is in Mia’s life almost every day. She will watch her while my wife and I have to work.”
