McKenna Parkinson was watching her friends play a nice game of darts when they decided to stop aiming for boring, old normal bull’s-eyes, and introduced a trick shot element that seriously raised the level of competition and, eventually, celebration.
In a video posted to Twitter on December 29, 2019, a group of people appear to have been playing a game of darts, when one man featured in the footage can be heard saying, “If it hits the middle and goes in the bull’s-eye, Bleacher Report’s gonna be all about it,” followed by a few “yeah” responses and various affirmations.
While he is speaking, the man appears to grab the darts and return to the spot from which he has been throwing them. As the man presumably begins to throw the dart, another one of Parkinson’s friends lightly tosses a plastic cup in front of the bull’s-eye on the dartboard.
Just then, the dart flies into frame and hits the plastic cup, pinning the cup to the bull’s-eye and causing everyone to erupt in cheers and whoops of laughter. “That’s a bull’s-eye,” some of the friends can be heard screaming after the trick shot is complete.
“They tried it probably 20 times before they got this one,” Parkinson told Storyful. “We had been playing darts all night.” Perhaps practice really does make perfect! Credit: McKenna Parkinson via Storyful
