Texas County Distributes Bottled Water Amid Supply Shortages

The WIlliamson County Office of Emergency Management helped distribute water in Georgetown, Texas, on Monday, February 22, as areas of the state continued to face water shortages following severe winter weather.

Williamson County created a centralized hub in the city, as deputies from the local sheriff’s office helped hand out six-gallon packs.

Video shared by the county shows trailers full of bottled water being unloaded and distributed to vehicles at the Justice Center parking lot in Georgetown.

A town advisory restricted water use from Sunday, February 21, through to Wednesday, February 24, when officials said a safe and adequate water supply for public use was expected to be restored. Credit: @PreparingWilCo via Storyful
