Terri Irwin Says Granddaughter Grace Shares Trait with Late Steve Irwin That Was the 'Secret to His Success'
Terri's daughter Bindi shares Grace with husband Chandler Powell
Terri Irwin's granddaughter shares more than just DNA with her grandfather, the late Steve Irwin.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight with her kids Bindi Irwin, 25, and Robert Irwin, 20, Terri spoke about her 3-year-old granddaughter Grace Warrior, whom Bindi shares with husband Chandler Powell, 27.
"Her favorite thing right now is animal facts. So she'll come up to me and go, 'Mama, giraffes have long necks! That's a fact,' " Bindi says. "And it's so cute. Grace finds everything extraordinary, and I think that's so special."

"That's a great way of putting it, magic in the ordinary! Wow!" Robert adds.
"And, see, your dad never lost that," Terri says. "He stayed 3 years old for his whole life, and that was his secret to success. So, may we all be like Grace and marvel at everything always."
Bindi agrees, sharing a sweet memory from her time with her dad at the Australia Zoo, where the Irwins all work.
"Looking back now — I don't want to take away from the magic — but he may have had a certain watch that perfectly reflected the sunlight and made the magic come to light and it was really special because I would look for fairies and I would name them," Bindi remembers. "Dad made sure the magic was alive."
In March, Bindi shared photos on her Instagram as she helped her daughter Grace celebrate her third birthday. In a post on her grid, the proud mom included a photo of a newborn Grace alongside a more recent one, taking a minute to honor her daughter in her caption.
"Three years of being your mama. Happy Birthday to our strong, thoughtful, incredible daughter," she wrote. "I know you are destined for wonderful things in this world with your kind and beautiful heart."
"Walking alongside you on your life journey, watching as you as you grow in this world, that is and will be the greatest honour of my life. I love you for my entire existence."
