Teresa Giudice Explains Baffling Photoshop Fail Heard 'Round the Internet
Where were you when you saw Teresa Giudice's HBD Instagram post to Larsa Pippen? Me, I was eating Fourth of July leftovers, and promptly choked on a hot dog. In case you missed it, which, there's literally no way, here's the photo in question. As you can see, the editing is...not great! Like, pretty sure a child could do a better job!
But to Teresa's credit, she 1) didn't take this photo down despite feedback like "fractured my leg in 3 places running to the comments" and "did Kate Middleton photoshop this?" and 2) she had a pretty good sense of humor about the whole thing:
And if you're asking yourself, in all-caps, WHAT WAS SHE THINKING, we finally have some insight into this mess. Kelly Ripa wasted no time bringing up the photoshop fail during Live With Kelly and Mark, saying “To me, it’s a great shot. To me, it also looks deliberate. Did you deliberately make it look like a photoshop?”
Teresa explained, “It was her birthday. I was scrambling. I’m was like, 'Oh, my God. It’s her birthday. I have to post a picture for her.' You know, we’re really close. And then, I was like, looking and the first picture I picked, that was the only picture I came across. I’m like, 'Oh, great, summer.' I just didn’t like the background.”
Apparently, Teresa then called her assistant to help swap the background. “She’s like, ‘I’m in Mexico.’ I’m like ‘Perfect! Take a picture of the beach.' I’m like, ‘That’s perfect. We’re wearing swimsuits.’ I’m like, ‘Put it like that.’ So, it’s our actual photo. We’re just in a different place.”
The rest is history. Put this photo in the National Gallery!!!!
