The State Border Committee of Belarus released footage described as showing the conditions at a makeshift migrant camp at the country’s border with Poland on November 12.
“The situation remain tense,” as the camp was “periodically replenished with new arriving groups of people,” according to the description accompanying the footage.
“Due to their long stay in colder temperatures, refugees are more likely to seek medical assistance,” the post said, adding, “Medical teams are on duty round the clock near the camp.”
As of Thursday, there were more than 2,000 people at the border, according to Belarusian officials. Credit: State Border Committee of Belarus via Storyful
