Shouts of “Out! Out!” were directed at Israeli police as the body of slain Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh arrived at a Jerusalem hospital on May 12, footage here shows.

Abu Akleh was fatally shot while covering an Israeli raid in the West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday, May 11.

The Al Jazeera veteran’s funeral was held at the Palestinian presidential palace in Ramallah on Thursday. She was due to be buried in Jerusalem on Friday.

According to Al Jazeera, Abu Akleh’s body was transferred to the St Louis French Hospital in Sheikh Jarrah, Jerusalem, ahead of her burial. Credit: Wadi Hilweh Information Center via Storyful
