Tennis stars played for a packed house in Adelaide, South Australia, where community transmission of COVID-19 has been cut to zero, on January 29, with 4,000 fans filling a tennis club to watch exhibition singles matches ahead of the Australian Open.
The Adelaide exhibition saw tennis champions warming up before the Australian Open, scheduled to take place February 8 to 21 at Melbourne Park.
According to local media, it was the first time many of the athletes had played in public since the coronavirus pandemic started.
