'Tennis Ball-Sized' Hail Comes Down on Eastern Georgia

Hail as big as tennis balls fell on parts of eastern Georgia on Wednesday, April 26, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

Twitter user @1keturah said she filmed this footage in Richmond Hill, near Savannah, on Wednesday afternoon.

The NWS said it received reports from both sides of the Georgia-South Carolina border on Wednesday afternoon, with the largest observed hail measuring 2.5 inches in diameter, roughly the size of a tennis ball, near Richmond Hill.
