Diligently flossing and brushing your teeth might win you brownie points with your dentist, but even the best toothbrush-and-paste combo isn’t enough to award you a megawatt smile — especially if you have a coffee habit. That fluorescent-like white is typically only achieved with the help of a professional, and after several hundred (or thousand!) dollars. Thankfully, the Intelliwhite Indiglow kit eradicates stains in the comfort of your home, and it’s marked down to $120 at HSN, from $170. (You can even go for three Flex Pays of $40). Oh, and first-time HSN shoppers can scoop up an extra $20 off with code HSN2022.

Devotees of professional whitening will benefit, too — this kit will tide you over until your next appointment (and might even convert you to at-home brightening).

The kit comes with toothpaste, a whitening pen, a pre-whitening paste and a teeth whitening light. The magic is in the light. Unlike most at-home whitening trays, which use blue light, the Indiglow employs the violet and indigo spectrum to remove stains and spots. It also has a total of 20 lights — 10 on top, 10 on the bottom — to shine on each and every tooth.

To get started, brush your teeth with the pre-whitening treatment paste. Next, apply the whitening gel and insert the tray into your mouth. If you have dry lips, make sure to prep them with lip balm. The tray will gently vibrate for 20 seconds, which helps mix the gel and the pre-whitening paste — then the light will stay on for 20 minutes. Once it turns off, just remove, spit out any residue and you’re done (just make sure not to eat or drink for the next 20 minutes)

Have a look at HSN's demonstration video to see the Indiglow in action.

Once a month should do it, but if you have ultra-heavy stains you can do a series of two back-to-back treatments for three consecutive days. Use the whitening pen for touch-ups in-between treatments. The kit also includes whitening toothpaste, so you won’t lose any of your work.

Enjoy your new smile but be prepared — your dentist might assume you had your teeth professionally whitened by someone else!
