Teddi Mellencamp Spotted for the First Time Since Announcing Divorce from Edwin Arroyave
Mellencamp revealed on Instagram on Nov. 2 that she was filing for divorce after 13 years of marriage
Teddi Mellencamp is stepping out for the first time since she announced her divorce from husband Edwin Arroyave.
On Saturday, Nov. 2, the 43-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum could be seen walking down the street in Los Angeles — on the same day she announced her split from Arroyave, 47.
During her outing, Mellencamp was photographed in an oversized beige hoodie, matching Los Angeles Dodgers cap and a pair of sneakers. The reality star appeared to be wearing a ring on her wedding finger while on a phone call.
The hoodie itself repped her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, which she had just filmed a live taping of the day before.

The same day she stepped out for her casual L.A, walk, Mellencamp announced in an Instagram post that she had decided to file for divorce after 13 years of marriage to Arroyave, the founder and CEO of Skyline Security.
The pair, who wed in 2011, share daughters Slate, 12, and Dove, 4, as well as son Cruz, 10. Mellencamp is stepmom to Arroyave's daughter Isabella, 15.
“After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” the reality star wrote at the time. “My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.”
"Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do,” she added, “but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I have felt being open, honest, and vulnerable is the best path forward."

Mellencamp, the daughter of musician John Mellencamp, appeared at a live taping of her Two Ts in a Pod podcast the day before with co-host Tamra Judge. She did not talk about her personal life during the taping and Arroyave did not appear to be in attendance.
The former Real Housewives star previously spoke with Yahoo Lifestyle in 2019 about how Arroyave didn't believe in marriage when they first met.
“He came home and he had tears in his eyes, and I had never really seen him cry before," she recalled. "And he just put a blank check down on the bedside table, and he was like, ‘Hey, I just wanted to tell you that I love you and I went to go buy the ring today. I’m sorry. I just don’t believe in marriage and I don’t want you to break up with me.' "
“I felt like the life had just been sucked out of me," she added.
Arroyave later asked her to marry him the following day on Christmas Eve. “Your mind plays tricks on you, and at the end of the day, I knew that this was the girl that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with,” Arroyave said in the same interview.
Arroyave has not commented publicly on the divorce but he shared an Instagram Stories post on Sunday, Nov. 3 — the day after the divorce announcement — about getting over 9 hours of sleep the night before.
