Hundreds of Israeli tech workers protested in central Tel Aviv on Tuesday, January 24, against the government’s plans to overhaul the judicial system.
Footage filmed by Twitter user @lirishavit shows the protest.
Dozens of Israeli companies gave their workers permission to attend rallies, the Times of Israel said, amid concerns the reforms would curtail tech investment and damage Israel’s reputation as a hotbed for start-ups.
The latest protest came after more than 100,000 people joined a demonstration in Tel Aviv on Saturday, with smaller protests in the cities of Jerusalem, Haifa and Beersheba for a third week in a row. Credit: @lirishavit via Storyful
