After Midnight is a reworking of the Comedy Central game show @Midnight, which ran from 2013 to 2017 and was hosted by Chris Hardwick. That show featured comedians and special guests coming up with funny responses to online memes and trending topics, with a heavy reliance on social media interaction.
Tomlinson was a finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing before rising to fame with her first Netflix stand-up special, Quarter-Life Crisis, which debuted in 2020. She followed that up with a second Netflix special, Look at You, which premiered in 2022. Tomlinson has also made appearances on The Tonight Show and Conan and boasts a considerable following on TikTok, with 2.5 million followers at last count.
