Taylor Swift's Denim Styling Trick at the Chief's Game Is Peak Millennial Fashion
Suddenly it's 2013 all over again.
Taylor Swift may be busy wrapping up her Eras Tour, but the singer always makes time to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce. And the star did just that by attending the Kansas City Chiefs v. the Las Vegas Raiders game on Friday, November 29.
Swift took some much deserved time off on Black Friday to cheer on her man. For the big game, Swift arrived alongside Kelce's mom, Donna Kelce, wearing a red Louis Vuitton quarter-zip pullover with the brand's iconic logo decorating part of the sleeves and collar. She paired her sweater with black skinny jeans that were tucked into her matching platform ankle boots—a styling trick borrowed from the early 2010s.

Swift accessorized with a cherry-red purse that dangled off her shoulder from a gold chain, oversized hoops, and a new necklace with Kelce's jersey number "87" covered in diamonds. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a braided ponytail, while the rest of her glam included the pop star's signature red lip and black winged eyeliner.
It's no secret that Swift has had a busy year between album releases, awards shows, and her record-breaking tour, but the global pop star has supported her man from the sidelines during several games this NFL season. Earlier this month, Swift saw Kelce and the Chiefs face off against the Denver Broncos, while wearing a red-and-black checkered Versace miniskirt suit, a black corset, knee-high boots, and a $54,000 Louis Vuitton watch.
During an interview on Today earlier this month, Travis's mom Donna Kelce revealed that Swift most likely wouldn't be joining the family for Thanksgiving. "She's kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do," Donna said, before adding that her plans included Travis's game. "I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving.”
It was revealed earlier this month that even when Swift comes to the games, she's not guaranteed quality time with Kelce. In fact, the Chiefs have rules in place to prohibit sleepovers before game days. In an interview with People, Chariah Gordon (fiancée of Chiefs player Mecole Hardman Jr.) explained that there "ain't no staying in no same room." The players have a number of rules they have to abide in order to stay focused ahead of games. They have an 11 p.m. curfew the night before kickoff, they're forbidden to drink alcohol before games, and they have to depart games together as a team and fly home on the team plane.
"They leave by themselves," said Chiefs safety Bryan Cook's wife Jayla Thornton-Cook. "You're more than welcome to go to a game and you can see them after, and then they're getting right back on the flight and they're coming right back home that night."
