Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce watch US Open men's final as Taylor Fritz loses to Jannik Sinner
Taylor Swift was unable to inspire another Taylor at the US Open men's final as she watched alongside her boyfriend Travis Kelce at Flushing Meadows.
The singer watched on as Taylor Fritz was beaten in three sets by Italian Jannik Sinner to leave the US without a male champion since Andy Roddick in 2003.
Swift attended the tennis championship in New York with boyfriend Kelce, four days after watching his Kansas City Chiefs open their NFL season with a victory.
The singer wore a red-and-white chequered dress for the match.
Kelce was dressed in a white shirt and sweater, looking appropriately attired for Wimbledon.
The couple sat in a box at Arthur Ashe Stadium along with Patrick Mahomes, Kelce's teammate with the defending Super Bowl champions, and his wife, Brittany.
The US Open posted a photo on social media of Swift enjoying a Honey Deuce, the tournament's cocktail phenomenon that costs 23 dollars (£17.50).
US athlete Noah Lyles was also in the crowd to see Sinner win his second grand slam of the year.
Sinner, who beat Britain's Jack Draper in the semi-final, won 6-3 6-4 7-5 to add this crown to the title he won in Australia.
Swift’s appearance follows alleged document circulating on social media, which supposedly detailed a pre-planned break-up between her and Kelce.
Representatives for Kelce have reportedly denied the rumours to US outlets.
The pair have been romantically involved since July 2023 and officially dating since December of last year.
Kelce has even been the special guest at a show during Swift’s Eras tour while she has been seen cheering him on at his NFL matches.
On Friday, Swift arrived at the Chiefs home stadium wearing a double denim co-ord paired with knee-high red boots, as she was pictured in a suite before the start of the opening game.
