Taylor Swift Stands During Harry Styles's Grammy Speech as Audience Heckles

Pop star Harry Styles endured heckling from fans during his acceptance speech for the coveted Album of the Year award at the Grammy’s on February 5.

Styles gave his acceptance speech for his surprise win at the awards show in Los Angeles, in a category where Beyoncé, Adele, Kendrick Lamar were also nominated. In this footage, filmed by Marley Harper, some audience members can be heard shouting “Beyoncé” and “Beyoncé should’ve won.”

This footage also captured his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s reaction. Swift stood throughout Styles’ entire speech.

While Beyoncé made history at the Grammys on Sunday, as the ceremony’s most decorated artist ever, she has never won Album of the Year. Credit: Marley Harper via Storyful

- Harry!

HARRY STYLES: Man, I've been so, so inspired by every artist this category with me. And a lot of different times in my life, I listened to everyone in this category when I'm alone. And I think on nights like tonight, it's obviously so important for us to remember that there is no such thing as Best in Music.

I don't think any of us sit in studio thinking-- making decisions based on what is going to get us one of these. This is really, really kind. I'm so, so grateful. I'm gonna pass it over to my collaborators who are-- I'm just so-- this doesn't happen to people like me very often. This is so, so nice. Thank you very, very much.

[APPLAUSE]

- Yes, Duchess. Love ya.
