“Can we all agree that it’s invasive & irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body,” Swift wrote. “Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation & neither does any woman.”

Swift’s reply came after Gaga denied the pregnancy rumors using a lyric from Swift’s song “Down Bad.”

“Not pregnant,” read the caption overlayed on the TikTok video Gaga shared. “Just down bad cryin’ at the gym.”

Gaga also mouthed an audio that said, “I don’t have to find the aesthetic, I am the aesthetic. I mean, I’m sure there’s somebody out here right now going into Pinterest just typing in all these adjectives to describe me.”

The Chromatica Ball star also took the opportunity to invite her followers to register to vote.

In a video Gaga shared on X, the micro-blogging platform formerly known as Twitter, the singer also denied she was pregnant and added, “REGISTER TO VOTE or check if you’ve already registered EASILY at headcount.org.”

Gaga will star opposite Joaquin Phoenix in Joker: Folie à Deux, the sequel to the Todd Phillips film centered around the Batman villain. In the DC musical film, Gaga portrays Harley Quinn and recently teased her role.

“You know my version of Harley is mine, and it’s very authentic to this movie and these characters,” she told Access Hollywood. “I’ve never done anything like I’ve done in this movie before, so it’s all going to be completely brand new and really fun.”

Joker: Folie à Deux is set to premiere in theaters on October 4.
