Taskmaster spoilers follow.
Taskmaster hit our screens with a New Year special on Friday (January 1) as a group of five celebrities attempted to impress host Greg Davies and his assistant Alex Horne.
The duo were joined by Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host Rylan Clark-Neal, Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, Derry Girls' Nicola Coughlan, actor John Hannah, and Channel 4 News' Krishnan Guru-Murthy.
The winner? Well, that title went to Shirley after an hour of total mischief.
One particularly tongue in cheek task saw the gang having to push the biggest thing they could through the hole of a doughnut without breaking it (cue the euphemisms!).
"It's big it's long, it's round, it's fat, and that doughnut is sitting on it," a proud Shirley said as she shoved a large black drain pipe through the doughnut hole, while she also made sure to complimented Alex's "big pipe", much to Greg's delight. Oh-er!
As for Rylan, he tried to push a cow through the doughnut, while Nicola was a girl after our own hearts and asked for a doughnut to nibble on as she worked out the task.
She eventually made a man from a cactus with only the tip poking through the doughnut hole.
The second task saw the group head into a room with different pieces of coloured Play-Doh and were asked to sculpt the scene on the other side of the wall (which they could put their arm through to find out it was a Lollipop man).
Cheeky Rylan even tried to make a new hole in the wall, while John accidentally confused glasses for a superhero mask. The most accurate interpretation was crowned the winner, and that went to the former The X Factor contestant.
The third task saw the group head outdoors where they had to go inside a large perspex circle and build a tower on a set of scales. It had to be taller than a wolf, and also very light.
Nicola didn't do too well on this one, with Greg jokingly describing her as "thick" after a mishap with some paper as several zero points were given out.
Lastly, the fivesome had to rummage around in a box and pick out something they didn't think anyone else would choose. They were then asked to hit a ball with their item while steering clear of Greg.
The episode was a big hit with viewers, with many sharing their delight over the series brightening up the first day of 2021 and calling for a full series with the celebs.
It truly is a wonderful start to 2021 to have this @taskmaster special 🥰
