Taskmaster's Mawaan Rizwan has had a difficult start to life on the Channel 4 gameshow, and it's not going to get any easier for him.

In a first look clip of tonight's episode (October 22), we see the actor-comedian getting himself disqualified after completely missing the point of a new task. Again.

The task in question sees Mawaan and his rival celebrities – Daisy May Cooper, Katherine Parkinson, Johnny Vegas and Richard Herring – placed inside a rubber dinghy in an empty warehouse.

With nothing more than a pair of oars, the stars are asked to place some exercise balls inside a number of hula hoops scattered across the flaw. But they mustn't move the hoops.

As we see, Mawaan proceeds to ditch his oars and use his hands to drag the dinghy across the floor, like someone hopelessly lost at sea.

While he initially starts out well, trying to gather all of the balls in his dinghy at the same time, he eventually abandons that idea, only to break one of the game's main rules.

Thinking he's sussed it, Mawaan began moving the hoops to the balls, completely forgetting that they aren't allowed to move the former.

He didn't realise the error of his ways until a whole two weeks later, when host Greg Davies and Alex Horne replayed the task to him.

After watching his colossal failure unfold, he simply exclaimed: "S***!"

Tonight's episode of Taskmaster airs at 9pm on Channel 4.
