Tarek El Moussa Shares His Secrets to Fatherhood as He Spends the 'Best Weekend' Skiing with His Kids
The HGTV star shares his older kids Taylor and Brayden with ex Christina Hall, and son Tristan with wife Heather Rae El Moussa

On Monday, the Flipping El Moussas star, 42, shared a sweet photo on Instagram with his two older kids, son Brayden, 8, and daughter Taylor, 13, as they posed together on top of a mountain. Wearing their ski gear, the three lean in together as El Moussa puts his arms around both of his kids.
In his caption, the proud dad took a minute to reflect on how he has strengthened his relationship with his kids. "I used to wonder… how can I bond with my kids better? How can I strengthen our relationship? How can I be a better father?" he began.

El Moussa says that being a good father means putting in the work, showing up every day and putting in the time with his kids.
"After an exhausting week, I had the best weekend with my babies! We spent the weekend in the mountains skiing, eating, playing board games, and making a ton of fires! Any parents out there want to share some ideas with other parents on here to help strengthen their relationships with their children?" he ended his caption.
In his Instagram Stories, the dad of three shared videos of his younger son, Tristan, 12 months, eating small bites of food as the family enjoyed dinner together on the mountain. A second video panned to show Brayden at the table, sitting at the other end of the table from Tristan.
El Moussa is dad to Brayden and Taylor, whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall, 40. He shares Tristan with wife Heather Rae El Moussa, 36.
In December, Tarek and Heather shared their family's Christmas card, which included their entire blended family. The couple shared a photo of their family smiling together, with Heather holding baby Tristan in her arms and taking a minute to honor her son's first Christmas with a sweet caption.
"Merry Christmas from the El Moussa family ❤️ There’s nothing better than waking up on Christmas morning, looking around and feeling like you already have everything you could want," the two wrote in their joint caption.
"Family is truly everything - We hope you all get to slow down a little today to be with your loved ones! It’s Tristan’s first Christmas so we’ll definitely be soaking every moment in with our crazy little monsters 🥰."
