Tamil actor Vijay’s ‘Leo’ becomes fastest Indian movie trailer to get a million likes on Youtube
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 6 — The trailer of Tamil actor Vijay’s upcoming starrer, Leo, has become the fastest Indian movie trailer to clock one million likes on Youtube.
According to Bollywood entertainment portal Sacnilk, the trailer took only 21 minutes to reach this impressive record.
This broke the record that was previously held by Vijay’s film, Bigil, that took around one hour to reach one million likes on Youtube in 2019.
In fact, Leo’s trailer has also garnered 25 million views within just 12 hours of its release.
Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo also assembles a multi-talented cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Anurag Kashyap, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Trisha and Priya Anand.
Leo will also be Vijay’s second movie to be directed by Lokesh after Master (released in 2021) and his fifth movie with Trisha after 15 years.
The trailer shows Vijay and Trisha on the run to protect their family from thugs trying to harm them.
The film will be released in theatres worldwide on October 19.
