Taiwanese entertainer Jonathan Lee to perform at Resorts World Genting in September after nine years
KUALA LUMPUR, June 16 — Versatile Taiwanese performer Jonathan Lee is set to return to Malaysia after nine years for a solo concert this September.
The 64-year-old singer, songwriter and record producer will perform at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting on September 2 at 8.30pm as part of his Those Songs Through The Years world tour.
Having worked with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry including Malaysian singers Fish Leong and Victor Wong, Lee's music is often described as a portal to the past, as it has the ability to transport listeners to different moments in their lives.
Songs produced by him carries a unique essence and tells its own story and his compositions are known for their intricate melodies, heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocal performances, all of which contribute to their emotional impact.
His songs often explore themes of love, loss and introspection, resonating with audiences across different generations.
Lee’s influence goes beyond personal success, nurturing numerous kings and queens of pop in the Chinese music arena.
Organiser Star Planet said the concert would be a journey down memory lane where Lee would revisit his hits between 1989 and 2000.
