Syrian Brown Bear Enjoys Playing in Snow at New York Wildlife Sanctuary

A rescued Syrian brown bear was filmed playing in the snow at an upstate New York wildlife sanctuary, recently released video shows.

Footage posted on April 23 shows the bear rolling around in the snow and digging inquisitively, only to find small branches.

“Randy loves to play in the snow,” the center wrote in the video caption.

Founded by Jim Kowalczik, Susan Kowalczik, and Kerry Clair in 2015, the Orphaned Wildlife Center, in Otisville, New York, nurtures its animal residents, in the hope they can be returned to the wild.

The center said this footage was originally recorded on March 10 of this year.
