Sydney Commuters Stranded in Rush Hour as Derailment Causes Major Train Delays

A “minor derailment of a small work vehicle” on tracks at Circular Quay, Sydney, caused major delays across the rail network during the rush hour commute on March 3.

Several services were cancelled and about 130 were impacted after part of a maintenance vehicle came off the tracks early Tuesday morning. The vehicle was eventually removed at about 7.18 am however flow-on delays were experienced.
