Syamsul Yusof will open up about marital woes with wife Puteri Sarah Liyana

3 Jan – Syamsul Yusof recently promised to satisfy everybody's curiosity regarding his marital conflict with estranged wife Puteri Sarah Liyana as well as the rumours that he has married rumoured girlfriend Ira Kazar.

In a recent video shared on Instagram on New Year's Day, the filmmaker stated that the time has come for him to talk about the situation, despite the fact that he believes that one should not share about one's marriage issues with the public.

"I am tired and I believe the netizens are tired as well," he said. "But the difference between what I will share in contrast to my wife is I would rather not share all the intimate details happening in one's marriage because I don't think that is right."

Syamsul stated that he believes he should be sharing his side of the story after Puteri Sarah kept sharing lots of details about their marital woes to the media and public for the past half a year since last year.

He also admitted that the allegations made towards him did affect his work a bit, but that he would like to thank all the supports given not only to him but to his wife.

It was back on 22 December that Syamsul stated that he is filing a lawsuit against the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (JAWI) for sharing slanderous information about him.
