Superman & Lois Series Finale Trailer: Will Clark Survive His Final Battle Against Lex Luthor and Doomsday?
After four seasons, Superman & Lois‘ unforgettable flight comes to an end on Monday, Dec. 2 (8/7c), and The CW has released an emotional trailer for the show’s epic farewell.
The 90-second preview finds the Man of Steel soaring into his final battle against Lex Luthor and Doomsday, one which got off to a somewhat rocky start earlier this week. The Nov. 25 episode ended with Superman, mid-fight, telling Lois and his sons that he’ll always love them… before being pumelled off screen by Lex’s twisted creation.

“I wanted it to be an emotional hit and to end it on an unresolved note,” Jai Jamison, who wrote and directed the penultimate episode, tells TVLine. “We’re just really playing on the stakes of that moment. And it’s a testament to Tyler, Bitsie, Michael and Alex. They all brought it.”
Watch the full, extended trailer below:
As we head into the series’ final hour, Jamison reminds us, “Our characters are at their wits’ end. They’re at their breaking point. Superman is trying his best to hold his own against Doomsday, but Lex still hasn’t played his final card. Dealing with this monster is going to take everyone coming together to make it through.”
Everyone, indeed. “It’s time you accept that you can’t do this on your own anymore!” an exasperated Lois tells her husband in the trailer, cuing the arrival of Lana and John Henry — just two of several familiar faces returning for the series finale.
