Supergoop Glowscreen is the best suncream and make-up primer you'll ever use
Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 30 is worth every penny - here's why
⏰ Tested for: Six months
⭐ Our rating: 4/5
🛍️ Reasons to buy: It's gives skin a beautiful glowy, dewy finish and doubles up as a make-up primer. A little goes a long way and a tube will last you months.
✋ Reasons to avoid: My only gripe is how expensive it is. Coming in at £34, it's certainly a luxury spend. However, you can buy a mini travel size for £17 if you want to test it out before investing.
💰 Best deal we've found: Currently at Cult Beauty you can get 20% off Supergoop! when you enter the code AFFBDAY at checkout.
SPF is the cornerstone of any good skincare routine and it's benefits are wide ranging - from reducing your risk of skin cancer, preventing hyperpigmentation and protecting against sunburn and UV damage.
Gone are the days of thick, creamy lotions that take an age to rub in, leave you sticky and prone to breakouts. New formulas are lightweight and fast absorbing, with thousands of varieties to choose between.
One that I love is Supergoop! Glowscreen SPF 30. The Australian brand has a cult following thanks to its glowy, sheer and mattifying suncreams.
I've used it as part of my skincare routine for just over six months and will always go back to it.
Described as giving a "supple, bouncy and radiant finish", it's well loved for its glow-giving properties and I can wholeheartedly agree. Here's my review on why it's worth a spot in your shopping basket.
🛍️ Reasons to buy
Nothing, and I mean nothing, gives your skin a glowy finish like this SPF. It's a beige colour that blends into skin in seconds giving a very sheer tint.
It's a formula rich in hydrating hyaluronic acid and vitamin b5, and niacinamide to brighten and minimise the appearance of pores.
It doesn't leave a white cast, sticky feeling or heaviness while wearing it all day.
Best of all it creates the perfect dewy base beneath make-up and acts a primer to help your make-up last longer. It definitely makes a smooth canvas for my foundation to be buffed into, and as someone who struggles with texture, it's my go-to.
✋ Reasons to avoid
Product-wise this is perfect if you want a glowy finish. If you're oily all over, or want a sunscreen with a matte finish, this is not the sunscreen for you.
The only downside for me with this product is how expensive the full size 50ml tube is. Ringing in at £34, it's the priciest SPF I own.
While I believe it's worth it, I would also highly rate the e.l.f. Suntouchable! Whoa Glow SPF 30, which has many similarities to Supergoop. The full size version costs £14 but is currently sold out, but you can still find the mini available for £5.
