Sunset Timelapse Captures Smoke From New Mexico's Midnight Fire Drifting Across Taos
Smoke from New Mexico’s Midnight Fire was seen drifting across the sky above Taos on June 11.
This timelapse footage was captured by Twitter user @taosmountain, who said it was taken in Taos on Friday evening.
Smoke from the fire was visible from Taos, Espanola, Los Alamos and Santa Fe, according to a Carson National Forest press release.
By Saturday morning, the Midnight Fire had grown to 3,500 acres and was zero percent contained. The cause was still under investigation. Credit: @taosmountain via Storyful
