There are some foods and drinks that will forever hold a special place in our ’90s-kid hearts. Dunkaroos are among the elite, and just like how they’re coming back to stores, SunnyD is bringing back not one, but two limited-edition flavors that were a hit last summer.

Although SunnyD beverages have been around for a long time, it was just in summer 2019 that it unveiled its Lemonade and Watermelon flavors. Naturally, ’90s kids and others gravitated towards them and they sold out across much of the country, according to the brand.

Now we know it’s almost summer, because SunnyD has brought back both flavors! They’re self-explanatory, but you can expect tart lemonade and juicy watermelon tastes. The flavors in combination with the bright colors make these must-haves for the season.

“Last year’s smash hit performance made it a no-brainer to bring back these made-for-summer, 100% fun limited-time flavors,” Jim Gerbo, chief marketing officer of Harvest Hill Beverage Company, the parent company of SunnyD, said in a press release. “SUNNYD fans pride themselves on their bold originality, a feeling that’s captured in our Watermelon, Lemonade, and the rest of our family of flavors.”

The SunnyD Lemonade and Watermelon drinks are back for a limited time in 6.75-ounce bottles and 64-ounce carafes. You can find them ranging from $1.99 to $4.99 at stores including ShopRite, Stop & Shop, Save-A-Lot, and Tops.

Now if you would excuse us, we’re trying to decide how we can incorporate these into our happy hour cocktail …
