Sunlight Shadow Effect Shows 'Bearded-Man' on Colorado Cliff Face
A Colorado-based videographer has captured time-lapse footage of sunlight creating a shadow effect of a bearded man on a cliff face along the Seven Castles trail near Basalt.
“For a few hours each afternoon, sunlight shining on rocks at the top of the cliff creates the bearded-man illusion at the Seven Castles rock formation,” said Barry Stevenson, who filmed the video. “The Shadow Man disappears in early August until he returns the following year,” he said.
