Suki Waterhouse Was 'Manifesting' Opening for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, and It's Happening: 'Dreams Can Come True'

Suki Waterhouse manifested her opening act gig on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

In a interview with Rolling Stone published on Tuesday, Aug. 13, the "Supersad" singer, 32, shared her reaction to learning she would be opening for Swift, 34, at the Grammy-winner's Aug. 17 Eras Tour stop at Wembley Stadium in London.

"I was dreaming, dreaming, dreaming of this happening," she told the outlet. "I was manifesting super hard. So when [I found out], I was like, yes, dreams can come true."

Swift announced that Waterhouse and four other female artists — Sofia Isella on Aug. 15, Holly Humberstone on Aug. 16, Maisie Peters on Aug. 19 and Raye on Aug. 20 — would be opening shows during her five Wembley concerts, in addition to returning opener Paramore, who leads into the "Fortnight" singer's set. She shared the news via her Instagram Stories on Aug. 5.

"Just wanted to tell you about something coming up that I've been so excited about: we're adding 5 incredible artists to our 5 Wembley shows, going on right before @paramore!!" Swift wrote at the time.

She added: "I asked them to play on this tour because I love their music and I think they'll absolutely smash it in Wembley Stadium!! Go check out their music if you haven't already. Gonna be a fun 5 nights!!!"

Waterhouse shared her excitement across her social media after Swift's announcement, captioning an Instagram post featuring an Eras Tour post for the show's Aug. 17 stop, "It feels like an honour to simply exist at the same time as @taylorswift, let alone be an opener for her on the biggest and best tour ever 😭😭😭."

The actress added, "A dream come true that I never want to wake up from. Playing at wembley stadium in my hometown!!! See you august 17th at THE ERAS TOUR."

Waterhouse's Eras Tour dream is coming to fruition just as she's gearing up for the release of her new album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, which is set to drop on Sept. 13. The album will be her most personal one yet as she explores the topics of fame, love and family (Waterhouse welcomed a baby girl with her fiancé, actor Robert Pattinson, in March).

“My last record felt so definitive of a dark period that I was trying to move on from," Waterhouse told Rolling Stone of her 2022 debut, I Can’t Let Go. "I felt like I’d be trapped in this vortex of this feeling forever. This one feels a little bit more like, 'OK, we survived this. What are we doing tonight? We're up.' "
