Sufian Suhaimi says there is no more marriage talks
3 Apr - Sufian Suhaimi recently admitted that all talks of marriage between him and the woman known as Rania Al-Sadat are now over.
The singer, who spoke about it at an Eid event in Geno Hotel, Subang Jaya recently, shared that Rania has already returned the ring he gave her, though stressed that the two families are still cordial with one another.
"We are still friends, but we're not in that stage anymore. Both parties are taking it well," he added.
As to why that happened, Sufian said that they were not on the same page.
"There was no fight or anything. We should have tied the knot last year, but we thought that there were still things that we needed to discuss because marriage is not something one should rush. There was no third party and the ring was returned the second week of Ramadan," he said.
As for netizens assuming that the whole relationship was nothing more than for "content", Sufian said that he is not the kind of person who would use his relationship as a publicity tool.
It was back in October that Sufian asked for Rania's hand. Prior to Rania, the singer was engaged to Elfira Loy back in 2017 but the engagement ended a few months later.
