Succession returns for a third season tonight and while UK fans are eager to watch the opening episode, US viewers have confirmed it is worth the wait.
The drama from Jesse Armstrong about terrifying media mogul Logan Roy (Brian Cox) and his scheming children who are both desperate for his attention and vying to take over from him has had a delayed third instalment due to pandemic filming restrictions.
It is due to air on Sky Atlantic in the UK tonight (Monday) but has already shown its first episode to US audiences the night before.
Fans of the show were thrilled to see it back and were unanimous in their praise for the start of the third season.
One viewer tweeted: "No you don’t understand i was smiling from ear to ear in this whole episode i missed my corrupted family."
Someone else added: "I haven’t been this excited for a new episode of a TV show since Breaking Bad."

The episode did not disappoint, leaving fans wanting more from the series which airs weekly.
One viewer tweeted: "So good. Sucks to have to wait a whole week for the next episode."
Someone else added: "Omg #Succession was amazing!!!!"
Another fan wrote: "Feels like this show never left. A chaos-filled episode from beginning to end. I just want more!"
Someone else commented: "Oh wow. What an opener. I have no idea where this is going to go, but I am SO up for the ride."
Of course, the key storyline in episode one is how Kendall's (Jeremy Strong) attempt at ousting his dad from the family company will go.
It looks as though the episode will include some memorable moments as one viewer tweeted: "This is somehow Kendall both at the top of his game AND the most cringe he has ever been."
Another person added: "Every scene with Kendall made me physically uncomfortable. Cringe level 100%."
Succession also stars Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun and J. Smith-Cameron.
Succession airs on Sky Atlantic from Monday, 18 October at 9pm
