Subway Commuters Wear Trash Bags to Wade Through Thigh-High Floodwaters Amid Heavy Rainfall

Commuters in New York City navigated through thigh-high floodwaters to get through the submerged 157th St Subway station in Washington Heights amid heavy rainfall on July 8.

Paullee Wheatley-Rutner recorded video at the entrance to the train station showing some passengers donning trash bags to try to stay dry as they ventured through the station.
