Students build 30-foot-high 'ROBO' statue from e-waste in India

Students of the Industrial Training Institute in Berhampur, India, have built a huge robot statue entirely made out of electronic waste. The 30-feet high and 3-ton heavy ‘ROBO’ has been made from things like electronic toys, screens, mobile phones, computers, keyboards, old TVs and CD players and many more old electronic devices. The footage from November 4 shows the towering statue, staring down with grim, menacing eyes. The goal of the student project is to raise awareness of environmental protection and the need for proper management of e-waste.
