Strong Winds Whip Up Sea Foam in English Seaside Town

Sea foam whipped up by strong winds blanketed the seafront of an English seaside town on February 9, as severe weather hit much of the UK.

This footage, by Jodie Musgrove, shows white foam coating the pier in Paignton, a town in Devon.

Local news reports said the phenomenon happened after Storm Darcy brought strong winds to the sea front.

The foam caused traffic disruption to the area as cars and pedestrians struggled to get past, Devon Live said. Credit: Jodie Musgrove/We Are South Devon via Storyful
